The Cry breaks records in a first for RTS Scotland

The Cry breaks records by being nominated in six categories in this years Royal Television Society Scotland awards. This is a first for any single drama to be nominated in this many categories at the RTS Scotland Awards.

The awards will take place on Wednesday the 12th of June at Glasgow’s Old Fruit Market and is hosted by STV presenter Jennifer Reoch and radio comedian Des Clarke.

The Cry is nominated in the following categories:

Drama – The Cry,
Director – Glendyn Ivin,
Professional Excellence: Camera – Sam Chiplin,
Professional Excellence: Editing – Alastair Reid,
Professional Excellence: Graphics and Titling – D8,
Writer – Jacquelin Perske
