The Cry wins Best Drama at RTS Scotland

The awards took place on the 12th of June 2019 presented by Jennifer Reoch and Des Clarke at The Old Fruit Market, Glasgow. The Cry won against tough competition of long running drama’s Shetland and River City.

The Cry was nominated for a total of six awards, which is a first for any single drama to be nominated in that many categories at the RTS Scotland Awards.

The series was also nominated in the following categories:

Director – Glendyn Ivin,
Professional Excellence: Camera – Sam Chiplin,
Professional Excellence: Editing – Alastair Reid,
Professional Excellence: Graphics and Titling – D8,
Writer – Jacquelin Perske
