Not Another Happy Ending

When struggling publisher Tom Duval discovers his only successful author Jane Lockhart is blocked, he knows he has to unblock her or he’s finished. With her newfound success she’s become too damn happy to write.

With the help of best friend and cynical high-school teacher Roddy, Tom sets about making Jane’s life a misery. The only trouble is, the worse he makes her feel, the more he realises he’s in love with her…

Meanwhile, Jane’s block spirals out of control and her fictional heroine Darsie intrudes into real life.

Twiddling her thumbs in the not-happening novel, Darsie is terrified that Jane won’t write the book’s ending because she’s given up on her very own happy ending.
