Claire is a BAFTA and RTS award-winning film and television producer and founder of Synchronicity Films. Her credits include the feature, Not Another Happy Ending, written by David Solomons and directed by John McKay, starring Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy) in her first leading feature role. Claire co-produced the double BIFA-winning, Weekend, written and directed by Andrew Haigh, and produced the BAFTA Scotland-winning thriller, Crying with Laughter, written and directed by Justin Molotnikov.
Claire has an impressive track record in network television with over 14 years experience at the BBC across multiple genres and has held various senior editorial roles within the organisation. She is a former consultant Executive Producer to BBC Drama, where she developed and produced primetime television shows together with a host of the UK’s top TV writers.
Claire’s extensive company slate includes an adaptation of Paul Auster’s masterpiece, In the Country of Last Things, to be directed by Peter Webber (Girl with the Pearl Earring); The Devil's Staircase, to be directed by Ben Lucas; Glasgow Kiss, from Sundance-winning writer-director Marianna Palka; Kill, a taut psychological thriller in co-production with Cinescope; and Blind Mice, another thriller in co-production with Blinder Films in Dublin. Claire is a former Chair of BAFTA Scotland and an alumni of the prestigious film business development programme Inside Pictures, 2014.
Synchronicity Films is currently in the advanced stages of development with writer and producer, Jacquelin Perske, working in partnership on a six-part, domestic-set, emotional thriller, The Cry for BBC1.
